APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

– Enrolled in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) undergraduate program in Puerto Rico.
– Competitive GPA
– ApplicationForm
– Recommendation/endorsement letter from a CAWT member faculty researcher who will serve as supervisor (see lists attached to this flyer)
– Research plan
> The plan must be no more than 1-page long, single spaced, and contain the following sections: (1) Title (2) Summary (3) Goals and Objectives, (4) Project Timetable and (5) CAWT faculty researcher advisor approval signature
> Plan must be aligned with the research priorities of the CAWT Interdisciplinary Research Groups (IRGs) and the Innovation Ecosystem (IE) Group:
1. IRG1: Engineering of Sensors and Biocompatible Technologies for Wearable Devices
2. IRG2: Power Sources for Wearable Technologies
3. IRG3: Big Data Driven Design and Analytics for Wearables
4. Integration of (1) through (3)
5. Innovation and commercialization of WT
